The mobile communications centre offers a spacious drawing room with large enough to conduct meetings or product presentations accommodating 2-3 customers in a comfortable atmosphere. The patent-pending PC mounting system designed by Espelmann is installed here. It performs all of the necessary functions and can also be installed in a variety of other vehicles:

1. IT equipment must be securely installed with spring-mounted protection against road damage.

2. Removing hardware from the vehicle should still be quick and simple.

3. The notebook should adhere to the newest requirements meaning that it should be light and replaceable without having to perform major conversions.

4. Cabling needs to be invisible yet easily accessible.

5. It should be possible to integrate additional hardware or new equipment (projectors, printers, etc.).

The PC mounting system fulfils all of the abovementioned requirements. And these are just a few of the criteria realized in the prototype, the mobile business workstation. Mobile work is not only performed on the road and on land. Particularly when dockside and in bad weather, holiday time can be extended by working on a yacht. Office work is not restricted to a specific location! Work wherever you want!
